UEE
Kim YuJin (김유진) was born on April 9, 1988. She’s known as UEE or U-ie. She is a south korean singer and actress. Uee is the vocalist of the kpop group After School.
Uee was initially first slated to debut with a girl group called “Five Girls” (“Oh So Nyuh” in Korean) which included Wonder Girls’s Yubin, Secret’s leader Hyosung, former T-ara member and current actress Yang Jiwon, and G.NA, but the group disbanded right before their scheduled debut in 2007 due to its entertainment company’s financial troubles.
Uee joined After School in 2009 (as part of the 2nd generation).
In that year she was casted for MBC’s “Queen Seon Duk” and SBS’s “You’re Beautiful”. Uee also appeared in KBS’s (now I don’t know where will be aired) “Birdie Buddy” and “Ojak Brothers”. She also made a cameo in SBS’s “My Girlfriend Is A Gumiho”.
Uee was virtually married with Park JaeJungin the reality show “We Got Married”.
She appeared alongside 4minute’s Hyuna in Mighty Mout’s “Love Class”. She colaborated with 4minute’s Hyuna, BEG’s Gain and Kara’s Seungyeon in the project group 4Tomorrow.
She recently have released a solo single titled “Sok Sok Sok”.
Her father is Kim SungKap is the coach of South Korean baseball team, Heroes.
