Aqueous Fluoreau by Mark Mawson

Mark Mawson, a London & Sydney based photographer, has published a new series of fourteen underwater pictures of ink. The set of pictures is named Aqueous Fluoreau, and its ‘Inspired by the vibrant colours that brighten up everyday life’. It looks like there is an explosion of different colors in the water and if you look long and close enough you can figure out all kinds of different shapes, forms and objects.

Mark Mawson is represented by several galleries and his personal work is in many private collections around the world.

It was shot in the South of France, hence Fluoro became Fluoreau - eau is French for water. Mark was inspired by the vibrant colors that brighten up our every day lives.

This pictures are so amazing, would look brilliant as wallpaper.

Mark Mawson takes different kinds of paint and drops them into a tank before snapping the outcome with his camera. A beautiful combination of vibrant colors and sculptural illusion.
