Snoop Dogg performed with a hologram of deceased rapper Tupac Shakur at Coachella Festival 2012,California.

Snoop Dogg appeared to resurrect Tupac Shakur, performing two tracks with a hologram of the deceased rapper. The astonishingly lifelike 3D hologram of Tupac greeted the crowd with a “What up, Coachella!”, before performing ‘Come With Me’, ‘Hail Mary’, and ‘Gangsta Party’ alongside Snoop Dogg and Dr Dre.

Snoop Dogg's epic set featured appearances from a number of big names including Dr Dre, Eminem, 50 Cent and Wiz Khalifa, but it was the eerie hologram which ultimately stole the show.

It had previously rumoured that the rapper would be 'resurrected' at the festival but fans were left stunned by the life-like hologram that appeared on stage, with Tupac telling the crowd: 'What up Coachella?'

The star, who died in 1996 at the age of 25 after being shot four times, performed Hail Mary solo before teaming up with Snoop Dogg for Gangsta Party.

Katy Perry revealed on Twitter that the performance had reduced her to tears, while Rihanna described the evening as 'one of the best nights of my life'.
